Meet The Doctor

Dr. Susana C. Porras Souchon, DMD, is a highly skilled oral surgeon based in Houston. She completed her doctoral training at the University Of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine in Philadelphia, where she earned her Doctorate in Dental Medicine (DMD). Dr. Porras furthered her expertise with post-doctoral training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston and its affiliated hospitals, including Memorial Hermann, Harris County Hospitals, The Methodist Hospital, and the VA Hospital at Houston Medical Center.

Throughout her academic journey, Dr. Porras demonstrated exceptional dedication and involvement, including active participation in the Psi Omega Dental Fraternity during her time at dental school. She holds a degree in General Dentistry from Universidad Central de Venezuela in Caracas.

Dr. Porras is deeply passionate about oral and facial surgery, facial aesthetics and injectables, bone regeneration procedures, dental implants, pathology, and trauma. She holds certifications in Advanced Facial Aesthetic and Injectables, and is Committed to professional excellence. Dr. Porras is affiliated with prominent organizations such as the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (AAOMS), the American Dental Association, the Greater Houston Dental Association, the Texas Dental Association, and the Hispanic Dental Association.

Outside of her professional endeavors, Dr. Porras resides in Houston with her husband and two children. She is actively involved in community service and numerous medical and dental outreach programs. In her leisure time, she enjoys cooking, photography, and cherishing moments with her family. Fluent in both English and Spanish, Dr. Porras is dedicated to serving diverse communities and providing comprehensive oral healthcare.
